Arnetta Curry
Vanessa, a strong, loving and spiritual woman, is a dear friend, mother, grandmother and active church
member. She is wise beyond her years and has persevered through life's challenges and obstacles with a
strong sense of faith. She is a sensational woman and in her own words: "I believe in God's plan and
purpose in my life."
I am a mother of four. Terrell, the youngest, is now a high school senior. I have thirteen grandchildren and
currently keep my grandson Amir while my daughter works. So I guess I am his daycare provider. But he's more
like my little shadow. I have my own things to do, so I take him with me. He goes everywhere with me.
But I am first and foremost a woman of God; courageous, loving and kind. I am that virtuous woman that wears
many hats. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I am blessed to have Michael, my fiancé, to share my life. He is a wonderful man, my right hand and, after
God, my strength and my rock. He knows my name.
I enjoy good wholesome things like shopping, nature and meeting people. I really like seeing how other people
live. Not how you might think. When I visit someone's home, I'm always inspired by the creative ways they decorate
or use items in ways I had not thought of. It gives me great ideas for my own use.
Being a member of JustSWEL, I look forward to our gatherings. I feel the spiritual connection between us, as
mothers, as wives, as women. We are all truly sensational!
